Type the watermark text and set the angle, size and how faint it is.

Your file never leaves this computer
This one runs inside your browser. The file is read into browser memory, processed there, and saved straight back to your disk — nothing is uploaded, and our servers never see it. Close the tab and nothing is left.
Want to check for yourself? Disconnect from the network first — this tool still works.
What it does — and what it doesn't
The watermark sits on top of the content. To lay an image *behind* the content instead, use PDF background.
This is a visual marker, not protection. It discourages casual forwarding; it stops nobody who is determined. For real protection, set an open password with Password protect.
The watermark is drawn into the page content and we do not offer a way back. Keep the original.
Page numbers can be positioned and formatted, but the cover page is not skipped automatically — split it off first if you need that.
Common questions
Will it cover the text underneath?
You control how faint it is. The default lets you see the watermark and still read the document.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Right now it applies to the whole file. Split, watermark, and merge back — both of those steps are local too.
Does it make the file bigger?
A text watermark costs almost nothing — it is a few drawing instructions, not an image.
