Enter line items and prices and get a laid-out quotation as a PDF. Every amount is recalculated on the server; the totals sent from the browser are not trusted.
Fill in the header, the line items, quantities and unit prices.
Check the tax and payment terms.
Generate the PDF and download it.
This one needs an upload, and is deleted afterwards
Browsers cannot do this calculation, so the file goes to our server. It is deleted automatically 60 minutes after the job finishes, and the working copy lives in a memory filesystem that is wiped whenever the server restarts.
We do not log file names and do not log file contents — that is a hard rule in our engineering standards, not a setting.
What it does — and what it doesn't
All amounts are recomputed server-side in exact decimal arithmetic. Browser floating-point produces one-cent discrepancies, which is not acceptable where money is concerned.
The layout and wording are our own. The set of fields follows ordinary commercial practice — which is not copyrightable — but nothing here is copied from anyone.
This is not an invoice and not an accounting record. It is a quotation document.
Nothing is stored. Every quotation is filled in fresh — the system keeps no files, and quotations are no exception.
Common questions
Why recalculate on the server?
Because the numbers on screen can be altered. A quotation goes to a customer, and a total that does not match the unit prices is embarrassing.
Can I add my logo?
Generate it, then place the logo with Add image / stamp.
Are past quotations saved?
No. Keep your own copies — we do not store any user files.
