Choose how: page ranges (1-3, 4-8) or one file per page.
Press Split and download them all at once.
Your file never leaves this computer
This one runs inside your browser. The file is read into browser memory, processed there, and saved straight back to your disk — nothing is uploaded, and our servers never see it. Close the tab and nothing is left.
Want to check for yourself? Disconnect from the network first — this tool still works.
What it does — and what it doesn't
This splits by page number. To split by content — a stack of invoices cut wherever "Invoice No." appears — use Auto-split instead.
Encrypted PDFs have to be unlocked first.
Bookmarks in the original are not distributed across the parts.
Very large files use a lot of browser memory and will be slower on a modest machine — but they still are not uploaded.
Common questions
Do the pieces lose quality?
No. Pages are copied verbatim, with no re-encoding.
Can I pull out just a few pages from the middle?
Yes — give a range, or select those pages on the thumbnails and use Extract selected pages.
Can I name the output files myself?
Rename them after downloading. We never put anything identifying in file names — the system does not record file names at all.
