Choose: extract embedded images (original resolution), or re-render whole blocks.
Download. Several images arrive as a zip.
This one needs an upload, and is deleted afterwards
Browsers cannot do this calculation, so the file goes to our server. It is deleted automatically 60 minutes after the job finishes, and the working copy lives in a memory filesystem that is wiped whenever the server restarts.
We do not log file names and do not log file contents — that is a hard rule in our engineering standards, not a setting.
What it does — and what it doesn't
Extract embedded images keeps the original resolution — you get exactly the picture that was put in.
Re-render whole blocks is for scans. Scanners often cut a page into dozens of fragments; extracting directly gives you a pile of strips. This mode merges neighbouring pieces and re-renders them as one picture.
Vector graphics cannot be extracted — they are drawing instructions, not images. Use PDF to image to render the whole page.
Output names are sequential and carry nothing from the original.
Common questions
I got a pile of fragments.
Switch to the re-render mode.
Why can some images not be extracted?
They are vector graphics rather than bitmaps. Render the page instead.
Does quality drop?
Not in extract mode — that is the original file. Re-rendering is redrawn, and you choose the resolution.
