Set size and colour, drag it into exact position, and download.
This one needs an upload, and is deleted afterwards
Browsers cannot do this calculation, so the file goes to our server. It is deleted automatically 60 minutes after the job finishes, and the working copy lives in a memory filesystem that is wiped whenever the server restarts.
We do not log file names and do not log file contents — that is a hard rule in our engineering standards, not a setting.
What it does — and what it doesn't
The text is drawn into the page content and cannot be removed later. For a note that can be deleted, use the sticky note in Annotate.
CJK text renders correctly — less obvious than it sounds; in many similar tools it vanishes entirely.
A text box does not flow onto the next page. If the content is taller than the box, the job is refused rather than silently truncated — a missing last line is much harder to notice than an error.
The typeface is the built-in Noto Sans; other fonts cannot be selected.
Common questions
How is this different from Edit existing text?
This adds new words. That one changes words already there, which is much harder and has its own limits.
Can I put the same text on every page?
Header and footer is designed for that.
Why refuse instead of truncating?
Because silent truncation makes you believe the text went in when the last line is missing. Better to fail now.
